A medina

Founded in 1071 and capital of Morocco for 350 years, the medina of Marrakech is extending over a total area of 600 hectares, it is one of the largest medinas in Morocco and the most populous in North Africa with more than 400,000 inhabitants and 40,000 craftsmen.
